Beth Bottenus (woodwinds) earned a Bachelors degree in music education with a concentration in clarinet.  While studying at Ithaca College, she taught woodwind lessons at the Salvation Army Music Conservatory.  She student taught at Boynton Middle School in Ithaca, NY and Stuyvesant High School in New York City.  Her former students have had opportunities to play at church, in various ensembles and at music camps and festivals.  Her students have also earned the highest ranks in the New York School Music Association's annual festival and the Salvation Army Eastern Division Star Search competitions. 

Beth is an active performer and enjoys performing at church, school and throughout the community.  Recently, she delivered a lecture recital titled "The Hungarian Folk Tradition," at Heath Village in Hackettstown, NJ. In addition to solo performance, Beth currently performs with The Village Band in Chapel Hill and orchestra at Church of the Good Shepherd.  She is excited to teach woodwinds at the Triangle Music School.
