A native of Taiwan, Shihhan Seyfried is an active performer and educator. She began her clarinet and piano studies as a child. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Performance degree from Aletheia University in Taiwan and a Master of Music Performance from UNCG.
Shihhan is an experienced teacher with a passion for music education. She has taught private piano and clarinet lesson for over 9 years and also taught pre-school music classes for aged 2-5 for over 4 years. She is a dynamic teacher who has the ability to teach a wide range of learners with diverse backgrounds, abilities, and goals.
With a commitment to helping each reach their potential, Mrs. Seyfried has developed a variety of strategies to engage, inspire, and communicate with young musicians. This is demonstrated in the enthusiasm that her students have for music as well as their success in regional, auditions, competitions, and festivals.
Her students have consistently earned high honors in the NCMTA Piano Performance Festival as well as a commendation from the judges.
